The Executive Liasons Officer between Ghana and the Ghanaian Community in France Rep. Council, Mr. Stephen Howard has met with several Dignataries of
of our Community. Among many are, Nana Ato Smith Mfantsefohene, Ghanafohemaa Ajoakour. For the Ghana Embassy, he met the Consular, Mr. Lawrence Azumah.
He took the opportunity of a Ghanaian celebration at La Briche to meet with all Ghanaian Pastors and a good number of the Ghanaian Youth in France.
The Executive Officer who is a carrier of GHACIF message to Ghana's Presidential Candidates has since returned to GHANA. He was accompanied by three GHACIF GHANA Executives. They have all safely returned Home with him.
At a GHACIF summit this September, we have asked the future President of Ghana to create 5 parliamentary seats for Ghanaians in the diaspora. A Member of Ghana's Parliament should be elected for each of the 5 continents.This is our message.
A summit meeting between GHACIF leaders in France and
Ghana has sucessfully ended this 17/09/2008.
The meeting was under the Chairmanship of GHACIF Liasons Officer in Ghana
Mr. Stephen Howard. He came from Ghana with Mr. Paul Meenu
Ghana Telecom/One Touch Marketing Officer, Mr. Stephen Owusu
a Gospel Musician and Ms Pearl Ewurama Swanzy. They all Represented
GHACIF Ghana.
Present for GHACIF France were Hon. Osei Mensah Michael, GHACIF President,
Mr. Patrick Sarpong Dumorine(Webmaster), Prince and Shaggy(GHACIF Organizors)
and Ms Tenkorang Joana GHACIF Social Secretary.
Series of matters concerning Ghanaians in Ghana and also in France were discussed.The current political atmosphere in Ghana was thoroughly discussed and GHACIF's role in it, was identified.
GHACIF Ambassadors Obour and A.B. Crentsil are on field for peace concerts for Ghana Elections.Ohemaa Mercy will join them on her return to Ghana.
Cultural Troups are also being prepared to export the beauty of Ghana's culture accross the world. They will start from South Korea.
Several other meetings with Ghanaian dignataries in France have been programmed for our Ghanaian counterparts. They came in response to GHACIF invitation and will therefore stay for only one week in France.
On his return to Ghana Mr. Stephen Howard and Mr. Eugene Oyoko-Baah(GHACIF General Secretary) have been assigned to re-inforce our pending discussions with the Ministry for Diasporan Relation.
They will deliver GHACIF Contribution and National request to all the Presidential Candidates of the forthcoming elections.
