Blackspears is the only Ghanaian football team registered in France.
On the 29/07/2005 the executives of the team Coach Awoch, Captain Franck, Secretary Kwame Nketia and it's Administrator Mr. John Kennedy Kyeremehwent to introduce the team officially to the Ghana Embassy. .Mr. Azuma(left) shkes hands with Mr. Kennedy Kyeremeh
The delegation was led by Hon Osei-Mensah Michael President of GHACIF/BLACKSPEARS. After various allocution by the executives, the administrator Mr. Kyeremeh presented some of the team's supporting clothings to the Ambassador through his consul Mr. Azuma and Mr. Koomson Mr. Azuma expressed the Embassy's support for such a stride in the progress of our community. He said it was a chance for Ghanaian footballers and sportsmen in France who needed a platform of expression.
The Blackspears delegation also informed the Embassy of it's intention to organize launching programs in support of the BLACKSTARS world cup 2006 qualifications.
