JAKE OBETSEBI LAMPTEY(NPP CHAIRMAN ELECT)
(Jacob) Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey ex-minister of Information
and Tourism has been elected last 27/02/2010 as Chairman
of the National Patriotic Party (NPP). He polled 2030 against
his major contestant Mr. Stephen Ayesu Ntim who had 1804
votes.The election took place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium,Kumasi
In his maiden address, Jake said he was grateful to the delegates for
giving him the opportunity to serve his party and Ghana.He vowed to bring
NPP back to power in 2012.
Mr. Peter Mac Manu the out-going Chairman sworn Jake and all other elected
national executives into office the same day at same venue.
