It was with a great fright that we learnt of the lorry accident of His Exellency Dr. John Adjekum Kuffour President of the Republic of Ghana our "Patrie".

We are surprisingly relieved to know that he was not even injured despite the fracture impact his vehicle portrayed and the descriptions by witnesses of the accident. Information has it that hawkers were amongst the people who removed our President from his destroyed vehicle. After a brief medical control he continued with his routine works for the day.
