OSEI-MENSAH LEAVES TO VISIT FLOOD VICTIMS IN GHANA
The President of the Ghanaian Community In France Rep. Council, Hon Osei Mensah will leave in a few days to Ghana. The object of his journey is to express the solidarity of Ghanaians in France to our compatriots who were victimized in the Northern Region by rain floods in Africa.
A package of 30million cedis has been raised by the council for the victims. This amount will be presented to them directly as instructed by Professor Osei Kwasi who's enterprise donated 2000Euros.
The GHACIF PRESIDENT will be met at the Kotoka airport by Nana Yaw Barima,GHACIF Ghana Co-Ordinator and Mr. Howard Liason officer for GHACIF AMBASSADORS.
Whilst in Ghana the President will call on the Deputy Minister for Diaspora Relations. Matters pertaining civic rights of diasporians in Ghana will be discussed.
Hon Asamoah Boateng the Minister will be absent from Ghana during the President's visit but GHACIF will ask for a clear outline of what this Ministry has for Ghanaians overseas and also how we can per that Ministry be useful to Ghana even if we continue to live outside the country.
The fundraise for the victims was a proposal given by Nana Kwame Sarpong Dumorine, GHACIF ENGINEER and WEBMASTER.
