Mr. Frank Boadi alias DJ Romance and his African International Hits Entertainment
have successfully organized the 2008 version of the Come-to-Stay Ghana Carnival In
France.It took place at Sarcelles Lake Park in the Val d'Oise (North of Paris Region).
It was a great occasion.
Ghanaians from all the Regions of France and from all professions and religious groups
were present.Holland, Belgium, Britain, Italy and Ghana were also represented. Films were taken by for OBETV and Canal Plus for show. Sponsors Paradise Beauty and Place saloon were present for their promotion.Several Black Communities were also present on other platforms and they enjoyed Ghana Music and Culture.
GHACIFWEB Director Kofi Agyare and GHACIFWEBMASTER Patrick Dumorine did the media coverage.
There was a rap show,Dancing Competition, Comedian show Draught, Ludo, Play cards and
several cultural activities.Aponkye Nkrakra,Aponkye Khebab,Nsaafuo,Agbaa,jollof rice,Banku with Tilapia Ampesi,Tuodzafi etc. were in abundance.
In a Carnival speech, The President of the Ghanaian Community in France RC Hon.
Osei Mensah praised the organizors for their sense of patriotism towards Ghanaians in France. He also thanked the participants without who's presence the program would have been something else. He said this carnival is the sign of our existence within African Communities in France and also ,within Ghanaian Communities on the planet.
MISS GHANA 2008 compettition is in the pipeline. So Miss Darling Frimpong Miss Ghana 2007
and her friends were present to boost and promote the occasion.
MC AWOCH and MC ABUSUA who wonderfully anmated the program said that,
Next Year's carnival will showcase top artist from Ghana.Prince,DJ P. Shady and Ultimate Kwame Nketia
DJD the occassion.Mr. Tee did the Security job.
Mercy Tabiri a Franco-Ghanaian athlete was introduced to the public.She was our guest of honour. Enoch effah and Nii Ayi were also remembered.
A prayer was said for OBAMA after invoking Kwame Nkrumah,Mandela and Kofi Annan
Gyina Pintiin na Boa Ghana was the day's slogan. Next Year July, come in your numbers
to enhance Ghana's Image in France.
