Ghana honoured Kofi Annan, 1st Black to head the United Nations Organization
by naming the only prestigeous Peace Keeping Training Centre in the country
after him(i.e. Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Centre. KAIPTC)
Last February, Air-Vice Marshall Christian Dovlo the Commandant of the KAIPTC
led a military delegation to visit Ghanaian troops serving under the United
Nations Interim Force In Lebanon(UNIFIL).They were received in a parade
by the GHANBATT under the command of Capt EKT Tamakloe.
71 medals were distributed to the soldiers. GHACIF has admiration for the
