Pantheons are all the gods of the land
considered collectively.
Some Ghanaian traditions give some godly
regards to chiefs. That is why our editor
decided to refer to all united chiefs as pantheons.
The durbar at Antwerp under the call of Nana Okotwerebour
Ampadu, chief of Kwahu's in Belgium, was to help him celebrate the life
of his father-in-law who has departed for eternity. It was a meeting of
Pantheons and Champions because all the chiefs and dignataries were
present including diplomats accredited to the Kingdom of Belgium and
the European Union.
Nana Opuni Dua Ware 1 who was made Abusuapanin for the
occasion remembered the Blackstars in his speech. He wished
them the best of luck. All Ghanaians present cheered that up.
A special traditional song request was made for them and all
the pantheons danced to the tune.
In a communiqé to ghacifnews, he has asked our national team
to beat the Australians today Saturday 19/06/2010 in South Africa
2010 World Cup Competition.
Of course many other Ghanaians have joined him to call for
victory to Africa through Ghana. They are all pictured above.
